This is a needle jet for an Amal MKII carburetor(105-2-stroke) on a triumph motorcycle. A needle jet helps control the flow of fuel into the float bowl of a carburetor. This directly effects how smoothly an engine runs when idling and accelerating, if you are having trouble with this things it may have to do with the needle jet.
